I started building software with C# and ASP.NET, drawn to the quiet satisfaction of small systems that just work. Over time the work shifted toward the browser, and I spent several years building modern web applications with React, learning to care as much about how a product feels as how it's wired together.

MY INTERESTS:

Somewhere along the way I became more interested in the systems themselves, in how machines might reason about messy, real-world data rather than only render it. That curiosity has slowly become the centre of my work. I'm now pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, treating it less as a credential and more as an excuse to read carefully and build deliberately.

My current interests sit at the intersection of explainable AI, computer vision and the kind of intelligent software systems that have to live in production long after the excitement fades. I am also collaborating on a news bias detection system, exploring how machine learning can classify bias across a spectrum rather than as a binary label. I write about what I learn, mostly to find out whether I actually understand it.
